The Memories, Rememberances and Anecdotes Project is an ongoing project by the Lilydale Online Access Centre in conjunction with the Mount Arthur Centre. The project is about recording the oral history of the Lilydale district from the memories, rememberances and anecdotes of past and present residents.

The project encourages people from all walks of life to come to the Lilydale Online Access Centre to record their stories about growing up, living and working in the Lilydale District. Stories and images will be uploaded to this site on an ongoing basis and a multimedia DVD will be produced.

The stories on the site can be recorded by voice technology, podcasts and video or they can be typed up and added to the site. The project also encourages  people to bring in memorabilia and old photos of the district, along with information or stories about them. Digital images will be produced from these items and included on the site as well.
